Sinopse
Estamos na cidade de Nova York e acompanhamos a história de dois detetives: Allen Gamble (Will Ferrell), um técnico forense que prefere trabalhar no escritório do que na rua, e Terry Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg), um homem durão que tem que aguentar Allen como parceiro desde que brigou com Derek Jeter. Allen e Terry têm como ídolos os melhores policiais da cidade, Danson (Dwayne Johnson) e Highsmith (Samuel L. Jackson), mas, quando surge a oportunidade para os dois mostrarem o seu trabalho, nada funciona como planejado.
